Michael Douglas spoke out for the first time after being diagnosed with throat cancer. He has a simple and strong message to the disease that plagues so many loved ones

“I’ll beat this.”

Michael Douglas insisted that his statement “Ill Beat This” be the only words published in People magazine who were awarded the interview. Douglas and his wife, actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, will also discuss how the couple’s children Dylan, 10, and Carys, seven, have reacted to the news in the magazine’s upcoming issue, which will hit shelves on Wednesday.

I really hope he beats this, are thoughts are with him and all people inflicted with this horrible disease. – LADY
