Janet Jackson done with albums, to release singles instead?

Last time I heard she really didn’t want to do an album. She wanted to just do singles every once in a while. She’s looked at the marketplace—albums are not really doing what they usually do when you put all this budget out there. Janet is just trying to figure out her landscape. She’s cool (though). Jermaine Dupri has revealed in a recent interview with VIBE Magazine that Janet Jackson doesn’t plan on releasing an album anytime soon.  She’s had poor sales for her past few efforts so I can see why she’s afraid.

The problem doesn’t lie in poor sales of albums, because if you put out a good release people will buy it.  Everyone knows Janet’s last few albums have been boring as hell with maybe only one or two tracks that are listenable.
