Mark Ronsons working with Santigold, Scissor Sisters, Miike Snow

“There’s no covers, and no horns,” he explained. “It’s written with some of the people that actually wrote the songs I covered on the last album and that I didn’t actually even know at the time.

“It’s quite interesting to write songs from scratch with those people, like Dave [McCabe of The Zutons] who wrote ‘Valerie’, and Nick [[b]Hodgson, of Kaiser Chiefs].

He said the album would be released “probably May, June depends how quick I can get it done”. via NME

Mark Ronson, the producer (who was brought to fame for his work on Amy Winehouse’s amazing Back to Black album) has announced that he’s working with Scissor Sisters, Cathy Dennis, Santigold and Miike Snow on his upcoming album.  Can’t wait to see what this sexy and talent man comes up with.  Love that hes always smokin’ a cigarette while playing guitar.
