Lady GaGa on We Are The World and Haiti

Lady GaGa was rumored to have been part of the re-recording of Michael Jackson’s classic We Are The World to benefit Haiti, but the recording session came and went without her.  She’s setting the record straight with Access Hollywood.

“I’ve actually been in rehearsal for my new tour, but I was never supposed to do ‘We Are The World.’ So that’s a rumor.”

But wait, GaGa. It sounds like you were supposed to do it.

“I believe that they may have asked, yes, about it, but I was unable to do it. And I’ve been working on my own charity projects for Haiti. We’ve raised over half a million dollars for Haiti already and we like to work specifically with charities that are based in Haiti itself.”

Either way, i’m glad shes helping out the cause, how about donating some proceeds to ONE more day of your concerts to benefit the suffering of people in your own country. There are plenty and it doesn’t need to take an earthquake to notice. - LADY
